While the title of the Black Eyed Peas last smash album, The E.N.D., was a play on words (standing for "The Energy Never Dies"), the title of the Grammy Award-winning R&B group’s sixth studio album, The Beginning, refers to ‘what is actually happening in the world right now’, says will.i.am.

‘The Beginning is symbolic of adopting new technologies, such as augmented reality, 3D, and 360 video. It's also about being experimental and taking songs we've liked from the past and playing around with sick, crazy beats.’ In keeping with that manifesto, the first single from the album, The Time (Dirty Bit), samples (I've Had) The Time of My Life, the classic theme song from the 1987 movie, Dirty Dancing.

The album comes in two formats - standard single disc and combo deluxe double CD edition, which includes three bonus tracks on the main CD, plus a bonus disc containing the five ‘best songs’ from The E.N.D.

Bonus poster with album purchase (only while stocks last).
