It’s been over a year since Ministry Of Sound released Chillout Sessions XII, but this latest instalment in the series is worth the wait.

The first disc in this 2-disc release features laid back sounds and some great indie tracks from a plethora of artists that are huge right now. The album includes heaps of great Aussie artists (something Ministry of Sound has been consistent in doing lately), such as Angus & Julia Stone, Sia, Washington, Little Red, Jonathan Boulet, and newcomers Gypsy & The Cat.

The second disc picks the pace up a bit, taking it to a great Sunday afternoon groove - not too intense, not too chilled, just perfect. There are some great alternative mixes of artists like Miike Snow, Florence & The Machine, The National, Eryka Badu, Robyn and Groove Armada, and there’s not a dull moment in sight.
